About Another Way Business

Another Way Business is a business education company founded by David Memmoli, a 15-year Family Nurse Practitioner who spent two years building a private medical practice, lost $2.7 million, and went through bankruptcy. He built AWB from that experience — documenting everything he wished someone had told him — so that others wouldn’t have to learn the same lessons the hard way. AWB exists to provide honest, practical, comprehensive business education to anyone who wants to build something of their own.

Another Way Business is designed to be a comprehensive business resource for entrepreneurs and business owners at every stage — from people who haven’t started yet and need a complete foundation, to existing business owners looking to strengthen specific areas of their operations. The current focus is on business formation education through the Starting Your Own Business course, with resources, tools, and services being added progressively to support businesses beyond the launch stage.

Yes. Another Way Business is a subsidiary of Another Way Holdings, LLC, a registered business entity. The course is hosted on TalentLMS, a professional learning management platform used by thousands of organizations worldwide. The textbooks are published through Another Way Publishing, a division of Another Way Holdings. David Memmoli is a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner with nearly two decades of clinical and business experience.

David Memmoli created AWB because he went through the experience of starting a business without adequate guidance and paid an enormous personal and financial price for it. After two years of trying to build a medical practice in Nevada — encountering vendor fraud, credentialing delays, financing obstacles, and every other pitfall imaginable — he lost $2.7 million and went bankrupt. Rather than walk away from that experience, he spent months documenting every lesson, mistake, and piece of advice he wished he’d had. AWB is the result of that work. You can read his full story on the About page.

Most business courses are created by people who succeeded and are teaching you their system. This course was built from failure — from someone who went through two years of real-world business formation, lost everything, and documented the full experience in exhaustive detail. The content covers things most courses skip entirely: vendor relationships, credentialing, compliance, leasing, the real timeline of getting a business operational, and the mistakes that cost people money before they ever open their doors. It’s also a one-time purchase with no upsells, no subscription, no paywalled content, and no gimmicks — everything is included for a single flat price.

No. AWB is an independent business education company. The course does not confer academic credit, a degree, or a professional certification. It is a practical business education program designed to give aspiring entrepreneurs the real-world knowledge they need to start and run a business — knowledge that formal academic programs rarely cover in useful depth.

AWB is based in Las Vegas, Nevada. The course is delivered entirely online through TalentLMS and is available to anyone regardless of location.

About The Course

The course is a complete learning system in five formats designed around the way people actually absorb and retain information. It includes two full virtual textbooks (Business Fundamentals and Advanced Concepts), a companion workbook for each textbook with over 500 interactive exercises, audio versions of both textbooks in male and female voices, chapter summary PowerPoints for every chapter, and a full interactive online course hosted on TalentLMS with video walkthroughs and additional business tips drawn from real experience.

The course spans 45 chapters and over 1,500 pages across two textbooks, making it one of the most comprehensive business education programs available for aspiring entrepreneurs.

The course covers the full arc of starting and running a business — not just the exciting parts, but the parts nobody talks about until it’s too late. Topics include self-reflection and mindset, business licensing and compliance, taxes, credentialing vendors, hiring, setting up your office, real estate principles and commercial leasing, financing, security, accreditation, marketing, and much more. The goal is that by the end of the course, a student understands every major area of business formation and operation in practical, actionable depth.

Yes. The course is designed to apply to any business in any industry. The fundamentals of licensing, compliance, hiring, leasing, financing, and operations are universal — whether you’re opening a medical practice, a retail store, a service business, a restaurant, or anything else. The examples and frameworks are built to transfer across industries rather than being specific to one sector.

No. The course was specifically designed for people who have never started a business before and don’t know what they don’t know. If anything it’s most valuable to someone coming from a professional or technical background who is expert in their field but has never navigated the business side of building a company. The course starts from the beginning and builds comprehensively from there.

The course is hosted on TalentLMS, one of the leading online learning platforms used by organizations worldwide. After purchase you’ll receive immediate access to the full course including all materials — textbooks, workbooks, audio versions, PowerPoints, and interactive course content. Everything is accessible from any device at any time.

The course is entirely self-paced with no deadlines or expiration dates. The full curriculum is extensive by design — it’s meant to be a comprehensive reference you return to throughout the process of building your business, not something you finish in a weekend and set aside. Many students work through it alongside their actual business formation, using each chapter as they reach the relevant stage of their journey.

Yes. Free sample excerpts from all four books — the Business Fundamentals Textbook, the Advanced Concepts Textbook, and both companion workbooks — are available on the [Courses page]. A demo video of the TalentLMS interactive course is also available so you can see the learning experience before committing to a purchase.

Both. The course covers the full arc from initial self-assessment and business formation through operations, hiring, marketing, and scaling. The Advanced Concepts textbook builds on the fundamentals with more complex topics for those who are ready to go deeper into running and growing an established business.

Pricing and Purchase

The course is $500 — a single one-time payment with no recurring fees, no subscription, and no additional purchases required. Everything is included at that price.

The course represents years of real-world experience, months of documentation, and a complete multi-format learning system spanning 45 chapters and over 1,500 pages. Comparable business education programs — university courses, professional seminars, business coaching — routinely cost thousands of dollars and cover far less ground. At $500, AWB is priced to be genuinely accessible while reflecting the depth and value of what’s included. There are no hidden costs, upsells, or premium tiers — this is the complete product at one price.

Not currently. The course is available for a single one-time payment of $500.

Standard credit and debit card payments are accepted through the secure checkout on the Courses page.

All sales are final. Because the course includes digital textbooks, workbooks, and audio materials that are immediately accessible upon purchase and can be retained by the buyer, we are unable to offer refunds once the materials have been delivered. We strongly encourage prospective buyers to read the free sample excerpts and watch the course demo video before purchasing so you can make a fully informed decision.

You’ll receive access to the full course on TalentLMS immediately after purchase. All materials are available from the moment you enroll — there are no waiting periods, shipping delays, or additional steps required.

Resources and Services

The Resources page is a growing library of practical tools for business owners — including checklists, business forms, tax forms, glossaries, calculators, job description templates, policy and procedure templates, and more. Resources are being added on an ongoing basis. Some resources will be freely available; others may be available exclusively to course purchasers as the library develops.

AWB is actively developing a suite of business services to support entrepreneurs beyond the course itself — including business consulting, analytics, and additional support resources. Services are currently in development and will be added progressively. You can see what’s planned and sign up to be notified when services become available on the Services page.

Yes. While the current focus is on the Starting Your Own Business course, AWB plans to expand its course offerings over time — including courses tailored to specific industries. These are in development and will be announced as they become available. If you’d like to be notified when new courses launch, contact us or sign up for updates.

About the Founder

The course was created by David Memmoli, MSN, FNP-C — a 15-year Family Nurse Practitioner, founder of Another Way Holdings LLC, and someone who spent two years and $2.7 million trying to build a medical practice before going bankrupt. He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from CUNY Hunter College, a BS in Nursing, and an MSN in Family Practice from SUNY Stony Brook, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from National University. You can read his full story on the About page.

Most business courses are taught by people who succeeded — who built something profitable and are now packaging their success into a system for others, without considering everything that could (and probably will) go wrong. David’s course is built from the opposite direction: from someone who failed, documented every mistake comprehensively, and spent months understanding exactly what went wrong and why. The argument for trusting that experience is that failure teaches things success doesn’t — specifically the pitfalls, the predatory vendors, the compliance traps, the financing realities, and the hundred other things that don’t come up in success stories because successful people often got lucky avoiding them. This course is an attempt to pass on that hard-won knowledge so you don’t have to pay the same price for it.

Yes. David is a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner currently practicing through Advanced Practice Nursing Specialists (APNS), a telehealth practice offering affordable flat-rate visits with no insurance required. More information is available at apnshealth.com.
