The effect exclusion has on the human psyche such that people want to have or participate in the very thing they are excluded from.It describes the paradoxical behavior of people to want what they cannot have.Its implementation in a customer service construct in which customers displaying difficult or even abusive behaviors suddenly correct their behaviors at the prospect of being excluded form continued patronage at the very establishment they are abusing.
